bg视讯 & Greenmarket's Regional 谷物 Project, in partnership with NOFA-NYThe Culinary Institute of America invite you to join us for Heritage Wheat in 的 Hudson Valley, Saturday, February 21 at 的 Danny Kaye Theatre in 的 Conrad Hilton Library 在 campus of 的 CIA in Hyde Park, NY.

The afternoon will feature a consumer preference tasting of heritage wheat from 的 Value-Added grains variety trials at 2 pm, followed by a panel discussion at 3 pm 在 history of grain production in 的 Hudson Valley, 的 science underlying 的 culinary functionality of heritage grains, 和 how we can use 的se breeds to address health 和 wellness issues 和 environmental imperatives.  Panelists include: Steffen Schneider, farmer at Hawthorne Valley Farm, Maureen Costura, anthropolgist 和 food historian at 的 CIA, 和 Elizabeth Dyck from 的 Organic Growers Research 和 Information-sharing Network (OGRIN) 和 will be moderated by Chris Loss from The Culinary Institue of America. 

are $10 for 的 general public 和 free for CIA students with ID.
